We got our hands on the latest hitch rack lineup from Saris while at Sea Otter Classic, and they look built for battle. From everyday utility to full-blown e-bike hauling, Saris has an all-new trio of racks built around modern bikes and modern needs, which could put them back at the forefront of the bike rack space.
The recently launched Saris Edge (Check out Jeremy’s review here) is leading the charge, a premium rack designed to meet the growing demands of e-bike transport. The new Edge is backed by two fresh takes on Saris’ most-loved models: the Freedom (Made in the USA) and SuperClamp (Built for the longer haul).
Saris SuperClamp – Speedy Loading, Sleek Footprint
The updated SuperClamp is all about fast loading, tight security, and minimal fuss. With a spring-loaded arm that locks down without touching the frame, it is a favorite among folks who transport carbon bikes or want to avoid frame rub.
The new version includes tool-free anti-wobble technology, a welcome addition that keeps things rock-solid without the need for a toolbox. Saris also added a folding and tilting mechanism, which makes storage and access that much easier. It still handles bikes up to 60 lbs. each, so yes, your e-bike is good to go here, too.
Saris still has the SuperClamp G3 rack on the website in both 2 and 4 bike versions, so it’s not clear yet if this will replace the current SuperClamp, or just add to the existing lineup.

Thanks to a fixed-position arm, it is designed with zero frame contact, giving peace of mind whether you’re hauling a steel gravel bike or an ultralight carbon race rig.
We especially liked the Fast Fit Technology—a rotating wheel tray that automatically adjusts to different wheelbases without requiring extra fiddling. Add an anti-wobble hitch pin and rust-resistant aluminum construction, and you have a rack that exceeds its price point.
